Introduction

Internshala is an online platform offering internships and training programs to students. It also provides recruitment services to employers, streamlining the hiring process by posting job openings, screening candidates, and managing the process. It's a valuable resource for both students and employers.

Problem statement

The problem that we aimed to solve was the redundant steps of the existing application process for candidates. Candidates had to fill out lengthy application forms for each openings they applied to, resulting in a lot of drop-offs and candidate frustration.

Objectives

User Objective

• Simplify the application process for candidates
• Decrease the time and effort required by candidates to apply for internships/jobs
• Improve the overall candidate experience on the Internshala platform

Business Objective

• To decrease the candidate’s drop-off rate from the application process.
• To increase the application rate per applicant and the overall application rate on each of the job/internships posting.
